Sorry for the delay in this week’s Music Monday. By the time you check this out, it would probably more appropriate to call it a Tune-in Tuesday (I have the powers of alliteration on my side).
Anyway, as we get set to see some new entertainment coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I thought it would be a good time to look back on some of the entertainment that used to be there: namely, Mickey’s Jammin’ Jungle Parade.
Epcot is my favorite park. Not just for some incredible attractions like Soarin’ and Test Track, but especially for the detail and immersion that await in World Showcase. In the pavilions surrounding the World Showcase Lagoon, you’ll find food, culture, and music that give you great insight into the culture of those nations. For today’s Music Monday, I want to look at one of the recently departed acts at the Canada pavilion: Off Kilter.
For this weeks Music Monday entry, we’re going to go back to attraction music. Walt Disney World is home to some amazing night-time shows, once of which I already covered in the first entry of Music Mondays. Today, though, we’re going to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for Fantasmic!
We talked a bit last week how the music of Walt Disney World is so often the thing that creates the feelings and the settings that we so fondly remember. For my money, there are few places where this holds more true than Main Street, U.S.A. in the Magic Kingdom.
This will only be the second entry into my Music Monday series, but honestly I might not need any more after it. I really think you’ll enjoy Mouse World Radio this much. Mouse World Radio is a website (and app) that let’s you stream music from Disney Parks attractions, shows, and background loops.
Nothing can take you to that magic place quite like music. That’s why in this new weekly series of posts, we’ll be looking at various music in and around the parks. First up is my personal favorite: Illuminations: Reflections of Earth.
